In life, when I count my lucky stars, I can confidently say that Chris is one of them. I first got to know Chris through a close personal friend, and under his guidance and mentorship, I have learned so much. Here are three main takeaways:
1. Leadership is earned, not given - throughout our entire working relationship and even now, as my manager, he has shown me what it means to not only be there, but also to be professional. This does not mean that Chris knows everything. What he does exceptionally well is his promptness to take action and I know I am able to rely on his instincts and support.
2. Sincerity and generosity drive value creation - Chris is not only selfless in sharing the proven methods behind his successes in his 15 years in the industry, but he is also humble in expressing the challenges he has faced along the way. I respect his willingness to explore and learn together to create more value that was not there for either of us before we opened up to one another.
3. Leverage is key - he consistently reminds me that we should leverage each other in order to build on the strength of each and every team member by playing to all of our strengths. I find his walk the talk attitude deeply inspiring, and it is a tremendous privilege to not only work alongside him but also to have this fiercely loyal friend.
